Regarding Smoke Grenades, shouldn't they do the following?

  • Remove Spotted Icons from you immediately (only applies when you walk into an ally’s smoke).
  • Hide your name, your health, and damage indicators when in the smoke and if a shot is fired at you through said smoke.
  • Hide you from Turrets, it won’t target you till you actually step out of the smoke, and will continue to fire at you. It just prevents that initial targeting temporarily.

I see people referring to Smoke’s as deployable cover for your team, well instead of buffing them in the way that they have why not reduce those buffs and apply stuff like these instead? Maybe it’s not physical cover like Turtle’s Shield, but VISUAL cover.

Black Ops 3 smoke apparently does some pretty neat stuff, like scrambling radar as an example. Smoke could do some similar stuff, such as hiding you from Bush turrets or as you said removing friendly spots.

Exactly, at least then Smoke Nades would have a really strong use outside of just for Red Eye’s benefit.

have 1 damage when direct hit someone.its a"grenade" afterall

Also make the smoke completely opaque like in CS:GO
It doesn’t make sense that you can see people somewhat while in smoke

Getting pegged by a chunk of metal would still fuckin hurt. +1 direct hit damage

Thunders frags should have the same effect regarding hiding health bars and stuff. Seems like a UI thing that they’ll hopefully address, and I agree with what you’ve said.

I don’t get what you mean by this. It already protects him from turrets as long as you threw a smoke before it sees you.
