Grabbed the CR94 Prototype myself, feels great. Honestly every single kit that has the Katana is great, haven’t really looked at others.

The Katana ones are also the only ones with the longer cloak augment. I was under the impression the Blishlok was going to be the only gun paired with the Katana though…

Honestly the Katana isn’t as strong as you might think. My alt attack didn’t kill a Proxy - EDIT: wrong see post below - and it still took 2 swipes to kill a mid tier merc. Not much different from the bat in my brief 2 games playing around with it. Though I stopped using it in the second game, melee just doesn’t trump gun and it’s too hard to get close to people.

Haven’t used the Katana w/o Melee augment but with it, no surprise, you do OHK Proxy and the like with Heavy attack. Skyhammers take a heavy and a light attack.

Yes you are correct, rechecked, I guess I tried the alt attack on a Vasilli instead of a Proxy and got it messed up.

It does one hit kill a Proxy - does 90 damage - but alt attacks are hard enough to hit to begin with, let alone hitting a fast moving target. Better off just to shoot them or use one quick attack as burst damage.

Miscommunication in the patch notes. That chart was all of his potential weapons. Not their combinations. Basically the 3 weapons of each category will be mixed and matched in his available loadouts.

I do like that they gave him a katana once with each weapon. Ensures you can have the gun you want with the katana.

I feel like it will do quite well in the elevators on underground. :slight_smile:

Well. I was wrong, I was sooo wrong about the Katana not being that useful. It hits so easily that it’s totally worth it, amazing weapon.
