Regarding Fragger and cooked nades

What if instead of cooking nades, they function like Nader’s nades, with a few differences.

  • No direct hits bonus, they’ll hit a player then drop to the ground
  • When grenades hit a wall or the ground, they will explode after 1.5 seconds
  • They have a large explosive radius and deal more damage

So essentially, instead of direct hits you basically have sort of mortar. Your throw the nade and wherever it lands spreads the damage out evenly through the area within it’s radius.

or…leave them as is. No more annoyign than the never ending fletcher bombardment.

Maybe Javelin’s rocket launcher should do this. Just a suggestion…

I’d actually prefer this, because there’s time for the enemy to react. With current Fragger nades, he can pretty much murder you without any chance for response.

At higher levels where Fraggers are capable of doing this, you usually will realise that there is one Fragger per team, and always keep an eye on them, and simply don’t walk down predictable paths. It’s the only way to survive a Fragger, but in comp, it works.

Fragger should have a distinct audio call when he begins priming to more easily allow countering. Priming absolutely should not be removed. The suggestion by op makes it a spam class with little skill involved. Nader can be a spam class but she is far more effective when the player knows how to direct hit and finish with bullets.
