refdefs !

I have no experience with making refdefs , also i havent learned any C , so i am still n00b :slight_smile:
Green - i can do it , blue - not sure , red - absolutly dunno
what i need:
i am looking mostly on examples and well understable tutorials/hints

setting proper FOV , and maybe rotation and angles
mostly some crap , x , y , z position and size , etc…
rendering world, players , entities , and a lot of other to refdef , using textures to define blend refdefs ( like TCE scope)

lets say why i want to know these things:
I want it only because new render to texture thingy!!!

  1. reflecting world ( yes , i want to have clientside scripts which defines which textures reflects like mirror , it will be water , some metal , glass , etc…)
  2. realistic 3D scopes , i only need to have proper refdef , it really cant work with using current player view , otherwise I already can use render to texture and these things…
  3. misc things like some UI , and these things
    4 ) maybe even use it as reflection for everything but that will be slow :smiley:
