Reducing texture sizes

How would I go about doing this?

Do you mean the Pixel (high/bright) or the KB-Size???

start by describing exactly what you want to do.
reduce size on a brush ? Select faces and try the S key or control+arrow keys
reduce size of orginal image ? Try photoshop/pspro/gimp.
reduce the amount of memory used ? Try r_picmip

I’m assuming he is talking about reducing textures sizes in radiant. To do this simply, select your face (faces) and either use ‘s’ -> texture scale …OR ‘cntrl-up\downarrow’ to scale your textures manually.
