u said that u want to fix the knife dmg…

to set it a bit lower

i think u forgott to nerf the right mousebutton attack with knife :wink:

10 dmg less it now does 50 dmg instead of 60, still makes it 2 right clicks = death

I love you SD guys but that was pretty fail. I thought we were all on the same page with the DPS being too high for the knife and it needed to be at least 3 hits to kill. =/ I would shoot for 49 damage and add a headshot if you want to make a 2 shot kill for high skilled players.

I’d like 35-40 damage per hit on alt-knife personally; maybe 45 if it swung slower. The weapon changes don’t make it nearly as annoying now, however it’s still gonna cause people to get really angry later on.

Is there a damage bonus for backstabs at the moment or is everyone I luckily kill with the knife already down to 50hp? :slight_smile:

The value wasn’t changed as much as we’d discussed here, our mistake, we’ll be looking at that ASAP. We have a bunch of other changes we’re also considering that should make the knife work better, we’ll see how they go,

And this is good also for the ECHO system ! So they will see the impact of the small reduction of damage on the knife. Will help them tweak it perfectly
