RedEye smoke? COLOUR PLEASE!

Here I propose a very quick suggestion: [s]Add a slight colour every smoke. Mind: VERY SLIGHTLY.

Just a very slight blue/red colour?[/s]
Make it slightly transparant.

Reasons to do so:

  • Friendly smoke: You know there is no enemy, as your RedEye is most likely keeping a eye out with his IR on.
  • Friendly smoke: Most likely you’ll not be spotted as well as there is no enemy RedEye nearby.
  • Enemy smoke: Avoid, either kill the RedEye and use it to confuse/kill enemies.

I think that RedEye will stand out even MORE with this.

Being able to see through friendly smoke would be a helpful addition. Make friendly smoke slightly translucent so we can see past it.

I like this idea! Maybe that is even better! But one worry: His IR goggles are worthless by then…
