How is something OP, and useless? Is the FAL and M1 Garand the same weapon, and fill the same role?
Grandpa Red doea need some kind of change, but to hell with a dank smoke popper+wallhacks with 1HK potential.

by useless, i mean that despite being op in the right hands, why would you give a sniper an assault rifle, and and also the grandeour is just 10 times better

Dirty Bomb doesn’t have “sniper” classes… It has Recons whose jobs are to scout, infiltrate, or deny enemy functions. Not every Recon needs to be an MLG kwikskopah. I mean, look at Phantom.
Never tried RedEye with the Dreiss, so I can’t judge him on that, but he really doesn’t need a bolt action I think. Being able to block out sightlines, spot smoked enemies, and kill them in one shot just sounds OP.
Ho wabout no, Redeye is already stupidly OP enough without a bolt-action sniper.
Oh look, another person who confuses the role of Redeye, he’s a marksman, not a sniper. He supports his team in closer quarters than Vassili (and usually Aimee unless she’s using GSR). He has the Dreiss because it suits his role of being closer quarters. Nerf the smoke duration and maybe give an indication of him using his goggles (red glow) then he’ll pretty much be balanced. He needs his higher HP due to the lack of automatic weaponry (Vassili and Phantom) and no way of increasing his damage (Aimee) otherwise to fit in his intended role.
Edit: You can talk about his weapons all you want in regards to balancing him, I’m simply focusing on traits he has himself.

It would be more balanced to give Kira the PDP. FYI that’s OP. Redeye’s already good enough.

Y’all are gonna want my guts for this, but I want his smokes to be buffed. Maybe add a smoky Explodyhendron to branch out sub classes. Also, this may take a whole other thread, but I think that with a little physics reworking and a second MOFO, we could make both Reds smokes and Stokes mollies more useful as an area denial utility, kinda like CSGO, but less punishing, or as essential.
Making his eye light up like a distasteful RGB rig would be highly appreciated, and maybe decrease the duration while allowing him to use it under any cooldown state.
Honestly shorten the duration of the smoke and have the goggles be about as long, or about as long as it takes to throw the smoke, have it work, and go the full duration.
I’d say 110 hp, and adding falloff to the Grandeur would do a lot.

agree, it should be buffed so it blocks off IR.
One of the issues now is that a Stoker’s mollies is less useful against his smokes compared to just using another Redeye’s IR.
