Red dots

“An alternate to normal Iron Sights that superimposes a reticule image on the target. All Red Dot Sights have the same functionality, and should be chosen based on personal preference.”

Might be an xbox problem, maybe the pixels are so tight on my 1080p screen that i can see too well but im almost SURE that the D-flex has reduced Something(i think equip speed)which is less than the others.

Noticed this on PC version too. Strange.

The red dot sights have different equip speed delays that seems to correspond to how much of a blind spot they create.

The YeoTek is the rectangular one with very thick sides. The thick sides create more of a blind spot, but it has the shortest delay.

The D-Flex is the one with the thin arch. It has virtually no blind spot but the biggest delay.

The C-U-Gone, with its circular lens, doesn’t have much of a blind spot to the sides, but its so low to the gun that it tends to make your gun take up half the screen, so it is somewhere in the middle.

i have also noticed that the D-Flex is very rare c ompared to the others? reason? Yeo-tek is on all.

I agree, the red dots should all be the same for equip speed.

On a side note, the bigger, bulkier RDS is absolutely disgusting. I mean, the one thing that keeps people away from RDS usually is the amount of screen real estate it takes up and that just takes out half your screen! The sides are so big, it could hide entire enemy teams, if they were cluttered enough. For God’s sake.

I just don’t like that I can fire away a whole clip and only get a few hits with the red dots. maybe it’s just cause I use AR mostly but when you burst fire while sighted in and your dots stays on target you should hit at least three out of four on your bursts.

Did they change this in one of the patches? I could swear when I was testing them all out to see which I liked, they all had the exact same stats.

Cones are only good for holding icecream and directing traffic.

(Shadowcat) #10

if you want a RDS that blocks less of the screen, you need to grab one with a bigger penalty to equip speed…thats kinda the point

(raddbj03) #11

might sound like a dumb question…but what does “equip speed” refer to?? is that how fast it takes to take from hip to down the sight view??

(Je T´aime) #12

I´m not sure but i think its the time it takes to change gun, if you are out of bullets you change to your other gun and the time that it takes to change it is the equip speed i think but not 100% sure.

(IG THOMBOW) #13

Yep, that.

(its al bout security) #14

stay vigilant and stay on that movement grind cause if you cant see over your RDS but really i dont experience the equip speed differnce, might just time it out but i mean if you follow brinks number 1 rule you shoylnt have problems with rds covering enemies lest they be 15000 meters away

i just use the greeneye, you get good peripheral vision Same zoom as COGA AND faster equip speed, win-win
