I just don’t get cheaters. What’s the point of doing it? The guy didn’t care if he would get reported and banned which makes me believe that he will make another profile and repeat everything. Reported him ingame, in Steam and finally here. Apologies if this discussion is not supposed to be posted here. But really, what goes on in their tiny little brains?

@Jostabeere @ElDingDong Yea sure it’s nice to point out the no name and shame policy and all that, but “abuse” flags? Really? Come on, even if one shouldn’t take some forum rep points too seriously behaving like that just alienates new people from these kind of communities. Think for a bloody second.
@Recin So yep, as stated above there is such policy in for what I know all Nexon published games; no direct naming / identifying of cheating individuals, and such video footage does so. This is to mainly not give any kind of attention to these fellas, which is one of the dozens, even hundreds of reasons people fall into such act.
So simply put: discussing OF hacking and hackers (for example in sense of “why” as you raised in your post, although most probably due frustration more than discussion opener) isn’t banned as far as I know, but naming individuals is. Just remove the video and it’s all fine ^^

Shrug I simply don’t understand the reaction. Sure the sticky can’t be missed as it pretty much hops out as the first thing on the list, but someone in desperate need to make appointment to optician is not abuse towards anyone but themselves imho

I thought no naming and shaming was common knowledge for online games.
