Profile-
A nimble hunter-killer, Vaga uses her speed and Forwards Scanner to scout and penetrate enemy positions before eliminating single targets who think they’re safe with a Lasher Rifle that can penetrate thin walls at full charge. She fares best away from the frontline- her weak primary weapons and low HP make her a vulnerable target when the Lasher is reloading.

Forwards Scanner
Cooldown- 5 sec
Duration- N/A
Vaga activates the forwards scanner on her glasses, releasing a short range (think shotgun effective range) pulse that shows the outline of enemies and deployables through walls for 2 seconds as well as displaying their current HP. Targets spotted by Vaga are not spotted to her teammates.

Lasher Rifle
Cooldown- 3 charges, 6 sec/charge
Duration- N/A
Vaga equips her Lasher Rifle, which fires a single shot that deals 25 damage. Holding down LMB allows the rifle to charge, with a 3 sec charge time to consume all charges. A fully charged shot deals 80 damage with a 1.5x headshot multiplier and can penetrate through two walls. Each wall penetrated reduces the shot’s damage by 10. Hitting targets with the rifle spots them to Vaga and her team for 4 seconds. The Lasher has damage falloff comparable to SMGs, with higher charge levels reducing damage falloff.

Notes
The name is a shortening of the word “vagabond.” Vaga is intended to be a extremely lightweight assassin who has to use her speed and spotting ability to get the jump on enemies and eliminate them before they eliminate her. Spot enemy, shoot them with Lasher, finish them off with your machine pistol primary before moving to the next target.

Of course, the balance of shooting through walls is gonna be iffy, and accurate players will be able to instantly down most opponents through walls with a fully-charged shot much in the same way Sparks can right now. Similarly to Sparks, Vaga only has machine pistol primaries for that reason.

Just curious, can this kill deployable. If so can it kill turret shield base through wall.
Also why is tap fire 25dmg, but with 2 charge 60 then 80 for full charge. iffy math here.
Sparks rev gun does 65 damage at full charge double damage to head, I know that this is for balancing shooting through walls, but it should still reward direct headshots (not through walls) with double damage.

Tap fire is 25 to make the Lasher useful at spamming. 2 charges is 60 so that you can headshot up to 90 HP with the 1.5x headshot multiplier while 3 charge is 80 so you can headshot up to 120 HP mercs. If two walls are pierced, the max damage is 60 (90 to head).

I didn’t want to jack up the damage values (or the headshot multiplier) because then you’d be able to headshot up to 160 HP on full charge, with the minimum pierce damage being 120. In both cases, that would be an absolute nightmare to play against if the enemy Vaga is consistently accurate. She’s supposed to be a quick assassin, not a sniper.
