Rebuilding glass

Ok, my glass is working fine, it breaks like normal, but how do you apply 2 classnames to it? I want to be able to rebuild the glass after breaking it with a button. I would assume you would just do it like a normal func_static entity with a button and just make the glass show up, but is there any way to make this work?

couldnt you make a 2nd fixed glass in the exact same spot that starts off invisible, then after the button is pressed it goes visible? I think thats the only way to go seeing as how you cant apply to classnames to a brush… atleast i think

you might be able to do it if you make your glass a script_mover with a health value, though you lose some of the cool effects you get with func_explosives. In any case, I do not believe it is possible to ressurect a func_explosive after it dies.

is there a way to make anything buildable even with a building box or whatever its called(the thing u use to build stuff when your an engi) and make the thing thats built have several sections and destroyable just by normal weapons?

What Iffy say + you can use a “target_effect” and trigger it from the script each time you need to see the breaking glass.

edit: I was ansering your first question above. Your new question, I dont think you can have a construction damaged by bullets
