REALY NEED HELP !!!!

Im new at map making, so I have some questions :D.

Which radiant I should use, I tryed many :

1.3 - textures what I load are icons NOT AN PICTRUES :angry: .
1.4 - Can’t download from www.radiant.com, closes it’s in the end :angry:
1.5 - Some verisons don’t have textures in menu/textures place :angry:
And the newest, i can see some textures as pics, like lights… but other says when i load : Textures load failed !

So can u guys giv me site that consists of Radiant that, where can I see textures as pictures ? Because I can’t play loto, when i but the textuers…

i use gtkradiant 1.4

I still use 1.4, the first version I used, because I am too laze to upgrade and because this version functions well for me.

Well I can’t download it from there… Tryed atleast 10 times … With DAP ( download accecor plus ) it downloads to 100% and nothing else, so then i have to X it . And btw it downloads very slow from there :/:/…

Mayby some of you can up this file to somewhere else ?? :smiley:

EDIT : Well now it downloaded it but the icon of the file was wierd :

OK I downloaded the Radiant 1.4 now and getted it work, but how to make the textures into pictures ? Every texture that I load is shader image, NOT AN PICTURE ! What I have to do ?

I tryed for 10 minutes but its not possible… When I write : how to make shader images to pictures … it gives me milions of topics that consist of words that i wrote… ( there are sometime milion sentences, but when in those milion sentenses there will be 1 of every words that i wrote, then the search will lend it on me… :disgust: )
But “Search for all terms” should fix it like that, that it gives me only topics that consist of sentense that has all those words, that I wrote, in row. But it wont fix it, or the sentence “Search for all terms” dont mean to do that what I want, and i translated it wrong :eek2: …Or the search dont have that kind of thing :disgust: …

So mayby it would be better when u smarter guys help tha starters… Is it really that hard to help another human :???: ?? I’st also good, because then it brings the topic up again for another starters… You guys were newbies too…

So can somebody please help me :???: ?

Why can’t I see textures as pics, I see them as shaderimages…:confused:
I CAN’T START MAKEING MAPS WHEN I CAN’T SEE WHAT KIND OF WALLS AND FLOORS I PUT :@!!

Which version of gtkradiant are you useing now
Are the standard textures missing. Or do you want to use your own textures.

Did you extract the texture folder from pak0.pk3?

Ooh the problem was that I had ET in :

C:\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory

But had to be in :

C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory

…cuz I installed radiant into prog. files ET folder :).

So starters don’t make that mistake :).

Ooh and where is caulk :bored:, can’t find it…

Can I just do my this with caulk and then but the texture ? Then I don’t hav to caulk it later :smiley: ?

And all those maps textures, that I have in C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etmin folder, are useable for me in radiant ? :???: I mean, those maps witch I have in etmin folder, those maps textures I can use in radiant ?
