Really want to play it

How does one go about playing it i signed up to the beta ages ago and never recieved no beta the game looks awesome.

It is. When it’s fully released. Currently you can buy into the closed beta + receive the basic mercs and 35k credits for the low low price of $19.99 USD.

There’s only one thing that needs sorting though is the damage looks like it takes time to recover from damage taken.

should be quicker regen it looks a tad slow. by the time you regen you’re dead.

With it being a team orientated game and all, I think they want it to be slow, to give medics a significant place in the team.

the buck for the starterpack are totally woth it btw.

The game is class based which includes medics that give you health either via medpacks or a health station and they can revive you. So sitting and hiding for a few seconds like you do in Call of Duty isn’t a viable strategy in the game. And you can actually Rambo quite a bit more if you have a medic with you.
