Re: On-going Issues with Australian Servers

So we were told in early November(servers were not working in early October) by the people over at Nexon that the servers would be back up within a week because of issues with Wireplay? and now here it is over a week into December and still no real information or details regarding when the Australian servers will be back online, if this is what its going to be like dealing with Nexon in the future you can pretty much forget numerous people throwing money at the game.

The lack of people from Nexon who are supposed to be replying to players on the forums in an Official capacity is disgusting, they dont know anything they give out bad information and in general suck, they get extremely agitated over nothing.

Wondering what the **** is going on, because we have alot of Australians who would be playing but playing on 200-400ms sucks pretty badly.

not to be mean or uncaring, because you guys paid like we all did, but really, how many people would even use those servers? Theres a few hundred keys out worldwide (maybe more) and there’s rarely more than one server in the world populated.

there will be even less if aussies leaves because of it …when they will put up might be too late …damage might will be done and be irreversible …just because of stupid decision that no one took care to look at :S

what, like the 5 that have keys, and cant play with 200+ ping to euro servers anyway? i dont see how that would affect anyone at all.

considering in the past 6-7 months ive never once seen anyone playing from aus, yeah. im gonna go with empirical evidence

Then everyone got more invites which essentially doubled maybe even more the Aussie community but then our server was taken away. Also you do realise we play when its like 5-6 am your time.

Alone the fact that nexon supports AUS/NZL they should at least have 1 server for the Aussies to test the game.

we were organizing 2 pugs a week normally Monday and Wednesday, we have roughly 30odd aus players possibly more since I’ve been out of the loop for a while

That is long before the beta key release and only on a competitive gaming site, there’d be wayyyyyy more Aus players with keys than that.

I’m sure you wouldn’t be posting this **** if you lived in Australia shaftz0r.

I know it’s all on Nexon but are SD able to have a word or pressure them a little into getting at least 1-2 Aus servers?? ****s taking forever.

Last I heard, the issue was actually with Multiplay. Not sure exactly how much of that is true, but I heard that from SD & Nexon.

But I’ve given up trying to find out more information after Volcano’s ****ty attitude the last time I tried to help.

what a joke, Nexon’s support is absolutely useless, never reply or if they do its either an automated messaged or a reply in a completely condescending manner which gives absolutely zero information

SD should be chasing this **** up, the RTCW/ET/ETQW communities in Aus are fanatical and we do have a fairly large player base who would be playing IF we had our server/servers running
