Hi, a friend has an issue with nexon launcher.
He activated the beta key and began to dl game but was to a wrong hard drive so he aborted the dl and set it up to go to correct hard drive. However, now the game appears in his launcher library but does not work - can’t launch.
He has uninstalled launcher and reinstalled it but DB still shows in library but cant launch.
How can he re download the game files?

I don’t want to sound pushy, but I noticed you are from Aus. The community appears to be very small right now. Perhaps spending the $20 wouldn’t be so bad for them 
(it’s what I did after registering several emails and waiting weeks for a key). Aus needs more players to keep people coming back, or it will fade away.

@Nail thanks, but he has a key I gave him that I won on trackbase… I already had one so passed it on!!
Now I reinstalled recently and didnt have to pay on steam…it just re downloaded the game. But does show in my library as a retail game not free.
I just wanted clarification that it is correct that steam is charging $20 for a F2P game??

technically no - you get the 4 mercs, 35k credits and also, free of charge, the early access.
practically yes, 20 bucks to play now.

It’s still in closed beta, so for the 20 dollars you get instant access, 5 characters, and 35k of in game currency. If you can’t wait for the game to reach open beta in june, then that’s the quickest way to get in.
It’s just that I imagine there are plenty of people in the region who want to play, but are still waiting on a code (like I was). You could be waiting a week, or a month. Or two months.
Ok what I am getting is YES there is a charge to play for not already registered players, even if they have a closed BETA KEY!!!
I will let him know that if he doesn’t want to pay…most likely…he can wait till it’s open beta in June.

I’m only going by what he is telling me. He may be getting confused with the Merc pack idk.
But steam does not ask him for the key apparently.

Well its a key given to me by Paul @ trackbaseET. Was from OCT 2014 so idk if is a steam key or not tbh!
Tell your friend to email support about this. I only had the Nexon access and got my Steam key from them.
