Greets!
Let me preface this by saying that I searched for a definitive Topic on Rcon Tool for server Admins, and found none.
With the above being said…
Does anyone know of an RCon Tool that is in development?

I found this in the ETQW Forum. It would have to be rebuilt though. Something like this would be great.
According to what the server tech guy at xfactor told me, when I asked him about an rcon tool, the server querying setup for Brink is similiar to HL2, but the rcon structure is similiar to ETQW. He suggested trying out rcon tools for ETQW, which I tried RconIT and and Rcon Unlimited. Those were the only 2 that I could find through seraching, and neither work.
So yeah, I think something is going to have to be developed specifically for this game, and hopefully quickly!
Oh, good news.
Just did another search on it and apparently Brink has been added to TWL competition, and one of the TWL admins is working on an RCON tool for it, that so far he/she says works. Hopefully we’ll hear something about it soon.
Simple Quake Wars Rcon 0.1 works with Brink. It’s a command line tool and that executes a single command and then returns the result.
e.g.
sqwr -ip <ip> -port <port> -pw <rconpassword> <command>
sqwr -ip 217.163.26.146 -port 27015 -pw password say “Join our community at www.thehh.co.uk”
Download from http://forum.i3d.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=394
Like I mentioned. It’s a command line tool. So open a command line/shell/dos window or whatever you like to call it.
Start > Run > CMD
Start > Search > CMD
And run it from there.
It works with Win7 x64.

i’ve sent him a steam msg to let him know, i’m assuming though that it was a temp password
well i hope
I have tried that. I went into command and pointed it to the program, but it does not “recognize as an internal or external command.”
I’ll fiddle with it some more…
sqwr.exe has to be in the directory that command prompt starts with. So either ‘cd’ to where it is or drop sqwr.exe to the directory that your command prompt displays.
Alternatively copy sqwr.exe to C:\Windows\System32 and then you will be able to use it regardless of what directory you are in.
Greets!
If I had an RCon tool wish-list, something along the lines of this one would be on it:
I know… a guy can dream right?
