Rarity skins on First Person missing.

First: Thanks to @Xavien who actually made me noticing this.

Dirty Bomb has a variety of skins which are nice and colourful. And 2 versions of skins for teammates and enemies.
But why don’t we actually see those skins if we’re using the merc ingame?
Sure, we see the nice shiny guns we own, but the character doesn’t change at all.
Here is the default loadout of Aura: http://puu.sh/lcSJx/6dd246cd20.jpg
Watch the gloves.
And here is a golden Bamboo loadout of Aura: http://puu.sh/lcSFG/26218d4d40.jpg
Notices the difference on the gloves and the arms?
The same bamboo skin ingame: http://puu.sh/lcStD/7b725482a0.jpg
It has a different character model but the skin on the weapon. Notice how the model even differs from the default skin.

Edit: Another loadout, Logitech, bronze character skin: http://puu.sh/lcT5W/b280490f54.jpg

And ingame the same, different skin: http://puu.sh/lcT7t/16dce7ab02.jpg

Your 1st person view of your hands and arms always wear your merc’s defaul skin, they never bothered carrying over the other skins. It’s especially weird when you switch from 1st person to 3rd person view and vice-versa (get incapacitated / revived) because you effectively swap between two different sets of clothing

Yeah I putted a question related to the topic in one of @Faraleth 's question threads but it wasn’t answered.

But you can see the ingame skin for you and the default loadout skins aren’t the same.

This always bothered me so much.

I might as well have @MissMurder come here to see if she can do anything about it. It just bothers me how like your gun is a different color but your glove’s color completely off-sets it .-.

They should really fix this at some point; if I invest the time/money to get a card, I wanna see myself wearing it… but it’s probably not a priority at all at the moment. There’s bigger bugs to squish.

Correct, the “default” 1st person skins are not 100% identical to the default 3rd person ones, but they are mostly similar or largely inspired by those. Note also that the default 3rd person skins also evolved over time, so the current default skins may not reflect that. For instance the default 3rd person Rhino armor pads no longer have the geometric pattern you can still see here and in-game in 1st person view.

But the basic issue remains that there is only one 1st person skin for each merc, regardless of the loadout card you picked.
