Proxy. Was. Buffed. Faster mine deploy time. Proxy is the single most overpowered and overused character in DB. I’m ifine with newer players getting a cheap obj specialist, but the mine range is farther than i can hit a baseball (im on Varsity baseball, College park falcons #1 in US 2014!) She doesnt need lock on, the mines already are homing devices right? I’m alright with her being her, mines and repairing and C4, but the mines speed, and i cant hit her. ever. EVER.
The only time ive killed a proxy (exageration) is with the airstrike or nade. The mines need to;
A.) Blast radius nerfed
B.) Damage/Distance nerf
C.) One mine at a time
D.) Your opinion?

Yes i know this topic isn’t new, i just wanted to blow off some steam, but what are your guys’ thoughts?

She’s hardly a hard target to hit. Perhaps tricky at basically point blank range, but not really anywhere else.

If you can’t kill a 90hp merc then I think you have way bigger issues that you should be dealing with. Yes, I’m worried about further buffing Proxy, but until she comes on free rotation in 1 or 3 weeks I think it won’t be too big of an issue. Mine locations are usually predictable with noob Proxy players (it’s the pros you’ll have a hard time with), so if you run past the same spot and die five times you have nobody to blame but yourself. But reason has no effect on you, because the title of this thread already exposes you for the petulant child that you are. You may not have learned this in your 7th grade class, but whining and throwing a fit gets you nowhere in life. Showing the rest of the world that you act like a child will get nobody to take you seriously, and hopefully you can take that away from this thread. Presenting yourself as a rational and intelligent adult, and presenting actual facts and well-supported reasons will get people to listen to you, and to respect you. You have done none of that. Go ahead, report me, but deep down you know I’m right, and the adults in the room can see it.

Also… I rate my own accuracy at 15% and I’ve killed a lot of Proxies… So… I’m sure a lot of guys are better than me at it.

Come on @GynxCrazy proxy is way easy to kill… Her only advantage is her mines and that becomes way predictable once your in this game too long. The distinct sound clearly helps you out. Only clumsy newbies fall for mines and pros rarely if placed right. So stop hating proxy :smile:

Turns out, I disagree with you anyways. Also, why ask for people’s opinion after telling them to leave if they disagree?

Proxy isn’t OP, and it’s funny that of all the mercs you think Proxy is the issue and not Fletcher.

I don’t think Proxy should have gotten the buff she did in this patch though.

Much like Reddit…

People crowd around eachother if they share the same popular opinion while free speech is discouraged and halted by penalties as a result of people incorrectly using the downvote system.
