I’ve heard about these ranked trinkets being given away to everybody who has a rank at the end of pre-season. But when is that exactly? Some people told me it would be at the end of January? I am so confused. Also, do Ranked Matches actually give you double credits? I’ve played a few games but I dont really see any difference with credits? It felt like I was playing Stopwatch, but with friendly fire on?

The devs said they would give us a heads-up of a few weeks when they decide to end pre-season, and if it was up to me to guess, I would say at the end of Feb is when we’re looking at the end of pre-season.
As far as the credits, it’s not doubled. It’s 50% extra, and yes, it does work. I have gotten a few 500 credit matches, but sadly I got deranked from Elite due to a bug where victories send you back to Cobalt 1.

Has there been any more information gathered about this, aside from apparently all Elite players going back to Cobalt 1? I want to rank up some more before season reset but I’d hate to fill the little bit that’s left of the bar to Cobalt 1 and then get Bamboo 4 or some crap like that.

Will I get it if I have a rank from old matches ? My W/D/L is 0-0-0 like if I hadn’t played anything. And I would like NOT to get it (I’m kinda completionist and I couldn’t stand having a trinket from a bad rank that I got after 10 matches). So I hope there’s a chance I don’t get it, or I hope they make it redeemable so we don’t have to get it even if we don’t want to.

They have kept us in the dark for a while about it. No news of it being fixed. I know that @RazielWarmonic said to link our profiles in the main thread about the deranking, but so far, nothing has been announced.
It only affects Elite players as well. I have won nearly 20 games since I was deranked, and I haven’t been sent to Cobalt 2 or had any progress back toward Elite. Just glad I finished it before this became bugged.

It also hit me as a cobalt 1. It reverted all my progress to elite and I am on the warning symbol with 0% since then. I didnt not get demoted however. Some of my other cobalt friends did though

This issue should be fixed now, regarding the elite/cobalt deranks.

When you get a match that is balanced and the game takes 30 mins on a double fullhold or just long enough you can get up to 800 credits depending on your score. The basic fee usually around 400 credits.
And about the end of the pre-season… I think they’ll end the pre-season as soon as they think of some prices for the beginning of the next season or it will end with the next big update and the release of the new merc.
I think as well that they should get the “play one competitive match” and “win a competitive match” missions back and put more credits to them… like 2000 so it can get more ppl to play ranked. If there are missions that are forcing you to play execution, stopwatch and objective I don’t see why there isn’t one for ranked.
Also of the end of each game the ranks should be shown otherwise there is no point of having this rank at all. Not being able to see if your enemy is silver or cobalt or elite is not good imo. You don’t know if u actually did good or the opponent is new to the game or bad or whatever, you get my point.
