The only think that pisses me off is that, first of all Ranked taked time to find a match, and then you realise that your teams has pure new players, they don’t revive, don’t try to complete the objective. Ranked should be available for experienced players
Ranked should be available to play after level 12 or something
They don’t raise the lvl because you will wait 30 min for a single match bla bla bla so is better to find a match in 10 min with lvls 7 in your team that will make you quit from ranked bla bla bla.
Btw even lvl 12 is too low for ranked,at least 20
However they can fix the problem pretty fast by just adding a fixed time for ranked like from 07:00 pm to 11:00 pm for 4 hours each, is bla bla balance bla bla less stress bla bla over stuff.
Close thread, common complaint, already been ignored by devs.

Yep, devs have confirmed they won’t be increasing the min level, so this is pointless

They’d rather watch Ranked burn than give it a sensible level requirement apparently.
200h in-game play would be fine to open Ranked sesame. Or make 2 divisions, but stop to merge new and old players, it’s catastrophic.

Overwatch is rank 25
And csgo is lvl 3.
A pure number from different games doesn’t tell anything…
If SD was just wise enough to pool all the low level ones in their bracket, then higher competitive players will rise by themselves. They can’t be clueless forever, if they get their bronze tier and are happy with it, they can keep playing ranked with their tier until they are sufficiently skilled for next level gameplay.
So many times, unranked players are being used to plug in high stake matches among top tier gold and cobalt levels and it’s quite a struggle when they’re not being part of the team and playing medical Rambo with Sparks or Aura.
It’s frustrating enough to get technical problems on a ranked match and it’s further frustrating to tell players what they should be doing as part of a team.

I think it’s basically because in CS, you only need to know how to aim and know the maps (which are quite the same since the 1.6 beta). In a game like Overwatch, you also need to know heroes, their abilities, how to play them and how to handle them when you have to fight them. In Paladins, you need to unlock a certain number of heroes before being able to play comp mode.
We should have the same thing here. Lvl doesn’t necessary mean anything. But owning a certain number of mercs should mean that you played enough to play different type of mercs and how to fight them. Which, as for me, is required to play in a competitive mode.

it does tells you the quality gameplay and how hospitable the CSGO community are.
(pure cancer)
And the rotation should be unavailable for players that dont have the mercs already.
Might just be me but I am tired of playing with 4 Level 7 Phantoms that dont even know how their cloak works or even what an objective is (nothing against Phantom but he just seems to attract the new players).
At level 12 or 15 You should have unlocked at least one merc and if you still rely on rotation on what merc to play in ranked… serious games might not be for you.

And CS:GO isn’t a f2p game where anyone can roll a endless amount of smurf accounts…
