There are 2 ways to select the region for ranked.
1)Before creating a lobby and
2) in the lobby
If you change the settings in the lobby as seen on the screenshot, it does NOT save permanently and gets overruled by the setting you chose when creating the lobby (1))
The save settings button is a trap!
