Calling all Mercs - Ranked Season One will officially kick off with next week’s update!
The current pre-season will also draw to a close, granting you a Trinket for the highest rank you attained. If you want to rank up for something shinier before then, jump into Ranked play and make it happen!

Wins give you progress, losses not so much…
Look in your profile page. The rank progress bar there shows best, how much you advanced in your current rank.
But they will need to make some UI overhaul cause at some point you only get small percentage amounts, that are barely visible. I had to do screenshots overlapping to see my pixel progress towards elite.
BTW, I hope this trinket distribution will work better than the last…
I still hold a gripe over the “exclusive” snowman on everyone’s and their dogs’ guns. While I didnt even got a single crate and just wasted time over it.
Are you gonna be able to get higher ranked trinkets from future seasons? Because if this is a one-time thing then it’s a horrible idea. I can’t hardly even play ranked with the 10-minute que times it throws at me.
@ArsonistCow i’m pretty sure that future seasons will also have the trinkets as a reward in the end.
Take as long as you need to get me that trinket. Ill be happy to take an “im sorry for the wait” elite case… or two
im stuck at gold 5 ranked…i played many rank match…and whenever i see my rank EXP…i feel like it’s not increasing after each rank battle i done…so is this bug or hard to rank up

These trinkets will be exclusive to pre-season.
I’ll be stuck at Silver 1 I seem to always be put into the loosing teams and also halfway through matchstick half my team disappears but at least I’m not the lowest u can get

@RAziel Warmonic you mean the preseason trinkets? right? I thought the other seasons will have trinkets too.

Yes, other seasons will have trinkets, but the ones shown and gained VIA preseason will be exclusive to preseason.
They will come with the update. There is no confirmed date for that.
Does this apply to the highest rank i have acheived overall, or during preseason? Because i have spent around 7 or 8 hours, 2 days out of the week and founf TWO… count em, TWO ranked matches is preseason, and my team (and me tbh) got absolutely STOMPED… So i was AT gold 5 right before pre season now i am silver 1 right when preseason started… I dont like silver 1 but am i stuck with it? Also are there going to be new trinkets for the new season? Trinkets that look different?
Wish I knew to try for bronze 5 from the start. Rarest of bling. Hope the update is mid week so I can up rank 1 more time.
