An open letter to the community:

Please do not play Ranked mode if you do not have a microphone.

It seems ridiculous to even have to write this, but my frustration after losing 4 Ranked matches in a row because my team of random players could not communicate is immense. Please, please, please; get a microphone headset and use it!!

Hi,

from time to time I try again and enable ingame VOIP… but it only needs about 3 games for me to disable it again because of someone:

o cry something totaly not understandable because of

  • bad quality
  • eating up his micro
  • talking in other language then english (its not my native one as surly everybody find out while reading this … sorry) and if this shoud make some sence it need to be one language nearly all understand… and we should try it with english, not german not french and btw not russian :stuck_out_tongue: or pizza … just kidding I’m not rassist!!
    o swearing
    o just spam
    o plays music

btw i still miss the setting to have ingamesound on the speakers and VOIP on headset… great feature in ETQW I realy miss in DB!

i got over this after setting some keys to adjust voip volume in game
did it in etqw,btw
db must have similar commands, i guess
