1 how does the pause game work in terms of starting amd ending a pause vote

2 how does ranked work as in promotions. Wins and losses dont seem to have equal weight moving up and down

Ranking up is faster. Ranking down is slower. It probably is compensating for the discrepancy in skill level.

so if you wanna rank up, you have to kill/win same number as before or its getting higher per rank?

Yeah its anoying but how does it work though. If its legit pause id like to know how long it is cuz i could use it to go to the little mercs room.or refill my drink or get more food but dont wanna get kicked for idle(not like those votes work anyway)

Pause is permanent, but control to unpause is given to both teams after a period of time. I want to say it’s 30 seconds, but I don’t have a source for that.

A lot of people that I have run into are reasonable about pausing for DCs or piss breaks. If there’s a pause, allchat that you need some time. If they are decent people, they’ll wait for you. If they aren’t, hopefully your team will repause. It’s pretty similar to how pauses work in other team games, like DotA.
