Ranked progressing slowly

I’ve been noticing that i’ve been ranking up very very slowly after 6+ wins in a row i do not know if its just me or my losses have made it even harder here is a bit of progression of the last 3 games we plan to keep going and hopefully win a lot more.

anyone else have a similar problem?

Prior to the fine tuning update that “changed the algorithm” of match-making, you know, because people were complaining about losing. Surprise. Prior to that update ranking up used to be much faster. It seems like everyone is ranking at a snails pace now. Just an observation.

If it is ELO rating indeed, than when you are matched with someone stronger than you, and win… You’ll win lots of rating, but when you are matched with someone weaker your rating will probably move very little… Anyways, it depends on enemy ranks and ratings.

But I don’t really know if they use ELO rating.

Two of my cobalt ranks were acquired during losses. Which made me assume that you are not solely competing with opponents, and perhaps the performance of your own is being compared to the performance of your own teammates

I honestly don’t know how it works 18 wins in a row later we finally lost to a group but we were burnt out then our 20th match we were matched against you guys @Kingsley and rip xD took a break after that planning on doing it again today here is my progress from yesterday…
