What happens with leftover Ranked Points when the season end?
Will they carry over to the next season? If not, what are the plans?
I’d expect 1.0 or kind shortly thereafter to be the end of S4?

Makes sense I guess, since people would likely be unamused if they didn’t make enough to trade them in for a ranked season loadout - but nevertheless can’t be sure about it so I figured I’d ask

The rank points you have in excess gets carried over to the next season, allowing you to stock up for next seasons early RS skins.

They carry, but there r so few ranked games and so few points given out its almost worthless… well, it is worthless.

To can carry over up to 6000 ranked points. I’m at 3400 or so with 1750 currently pending once the season concludes. Got all 4 Obsidian skins and popped for 1 ranked weapon case. Not gonna bother with this season’s trinket as it doesn’t do anything for my loins. Just activated my free 7 day booster so imma grind like mad this week.

BTW for the past ranked seasons the shop was still available for some time (2 weeks?) afterwards so you could spend the credits you got for your rank at the end of the season. So for example if you have 250 ranked credits left and you get 1750 for being Gold 2 then you should be able to buy 2 ranked cases of season 4 or the Nader obsidian.

im stuck at 60 rank points. i wish to play rank match again. last time i played since the opening of season 4 patch

Sometimes it’s a 10-12 minute wait, early morning US is best for playing in the EU, I can usually pick up some aussie players at the time I’m posting this.

So I started playing ranked and noticed it says now 150/6000 points.
Does that mean 6k is the limit and I need to spent points before reaching that?
How does that work with the end of season rewards?
Are they also gonna get lost if they go over this limit?

I also learned why this game won’t make it and people are quitting.
People afk, kill teammates and call surrender votes directly at the start.
I believe they feel like getting the loss ranked points within 3 minutes and downrank to be able to punch some newbs every now and then is a valid strategy. For some reason you can’t kick them or well, if you do, you’re still doomed in 4v5. And for some reason sometimes they get bitter and don’t surrender themselves, so they just sit afk in the spawn, team kill, and you have to sit through 15 minutes of this without even making any exp (because playing 3v5 won’t get you anywhere already having taking dmg in the spawn from two “team mates”).
How can it be so hard to have these people be punished. Blocked from playing for an hour for disconnecting. And simply banned for a day/7d/forever (like 3 strikes) if they keep grieving this intensely?

first off, you’re at 150. You ain’t making 6k any time soon.
but yeah, 6k is the limit, once you hit that, you simply won’t accrue any more.
End of season, just make sure your end of season reward doesn’t put you over the 6k limit. Your points roll from one season to the next.

Make sure to report them. Griefing and throwing matches is, without doubt, punishable behaviour and will be dealt with. A recording would be ideal.

I heard of players getting temporarily banned from ranked for a week or two, supposedly that becomes worse with each additional offence.
