To be honest, if they had a simple option to just tag “allow pre mades” along with whatever maps you wanna play people would probably be ok with that.

But even so, my issues with match making are still there. Mainly with the fact it really should only be Ranked only, no casual matchmaking necessary.

Matchmaking for this game in general is just poor as about 10-20% of matches are ether rolls or shutouts.

A small part of the issue is that the rebalance that occurs from a vote is ether heavily or exclusively based on score and not k/a/r/d ratios (kill, assist, revive, death), which means that a medic/support main who has only half decent aim (15-25% shot accuracy) but is a pretty good healer/reviver is considered a much heavier weight in mm’s scales than someone who is consistently getting headshot kills and 3-5 kills per life.

A good medic with poor gun aim can only help their team so much if their team can’t even stay alive long enough to be healed or revived, which is partially why if the mm was better suited for medic/support mains, I estimate we’d have half as many rolls and shutouts as we do now.

I’m not asking for nor do I think medics need buffs, but improving how the mm system works to include assists and revives in the ratio in its calculations would help quite a bit.

I think a main issue are the ranked cases. Everyone want to win so much to get those 50 pts, they abuse the shit out of the game. Its not even about the rank any more but about getting as many cases as possible. And with the free 2000 pts you get after the season and possible trading of cards anytime soon, smurfing is even more supported
