Just wondering what the logic behind the decision was on limiting parties in ranked games to 2 people? When in ranked games teams were 5 a side? Doesn’t seeem to make a great deal of sense when the point behind ranked games was to encourage a more competitive community with teams and such, and then penalize the act of getting said teams together by not allowing them to party up together to guarantee a match together.
Was there any other reason than catering to the people trying to play in ranked matches solo getting stomped on too often?

No more 5 man stomps meaning more balance. Should be faster queuing times as well.
I don’t think it’s permanent either.

considering that 80%< of queue-es were going solo, ranked now more accurately resembles the majority’s desires.
