Ranked matches and it's reward

So what’s the deal with this system … i am really mad at this now … 3 consecutive wins and only a little rise in rank progression and a single loss and drastic decrease ( more than that rise from 3 wins) in my level … why is it so ?? is that how it works ??? it is making me so mad so that i might quit playing Ranked matches … Is there any calculation for this or you ppl never wanted me to increase my rank lol

Assuming the system is working correctly you might have been matched up with players with a much lower rating that you/your teammates. You won those games so your public rating doesn’t go up much. But if you lose against them the 4th time or even against another team that is similarly rated to your own and you might drop quite a bit. It sucks when looking at it in the short term because the swings can be huge. But in the long term things average out assuming the system is working right. Your next win will gain you more points than it would have before and help offset your recent losses.

Wait till you’re racing through Cobalt 1 to get to Elite. You win, you get a nice 1% increase, but if you lose a game, you get set back over 30-70%
