CMM sucks as well. It was predictable that nothing was going to actually change much other than now facing off against tryhards 24/7 (talking about those people that play 1 merc all the time, never mess around or honor their family by meleeing or tbagging). :’(

I think a lot of people miss the fact that after waiting a certain amount of time, you get a prompt that says “Searching ALL SKILL LEVELS” or something like that. So if you end up with players way better or worse than you, its because you willingly waited that long to be put in that situation. How is that Dirty Bombs fault?

Its still crap. People with over 150 and 200 ping in my games. And I’m being matched with low level players with barely any hours in the game. Its still trash.

I used to play DB when it was in closed beta, came back two months ago (new account). I wanted to play with my friend who isn’t good in FPS. We picked casual, because it’s supposed to be casual. I ended up with players full of cobalts, SE and ranked season cards, while I don’t even have enough to craft one.

But that’s ok, it only means people spent a lot of time in DB. My concern was, they were really mean to my friend. We lost 3 games in a row.

I wonder what kind of algorithm they use to party up players.

From my POV, casual is not even near being “casual” because of the CMM. It would be completely fine but why the hell I get 4 OBJ mission and only 1 stopwatch? I’m forced to play either casual or in Moscow with high ping. Not fair.

I understand SD wants to promote and work on CMM, ok. But this is really annoying to end up each time with either spawn killing or being spawn killed. Not to mention I can’t play with my friends coz we will be matched with players on “ranked level” who play like it was some final stage of tournament where the prize is more than 100k $.

tl;dr
Casual = Ranked but OBJ mode.

Again, I’m fine with tryhards, I can play with them, against them, no problem. But I can’t play with my friend, can’t show him how great DB is when he can’t even move out from spawn, or he’s getting roasted for being bad.

In sd defense they did say it will take time ffor cmm to rank every one to ballance out matches. And if u beleive that i know a guy thats has a bridge to sell.

Do we not have the option to kick players in ranked anymore? Why should they receive rewards for not participating or being afk?

It was killed off u cant kick in ranked since season began. But if i femember if u vot kicked u were forced to rejoin anyway so kicking was pointless. I remember kicking a team killer amd 2 min later he was back anyway

Hopefully future ranked seasons will become more active. I’m staying pretty optimistic because I think the new changes they’re making are a step in the right direction. CMM is a cool addition and I bet they’ll get some of the kinks worked out.

I’ve seen those penalty messages from ranked and it even warned me before leaving one so i assumed :confused: . Guessing it was just early stages of CMM then?
