After around 45 matches in ranked I have seen it all once again. I was gold specialist and was on a decent path. But now at evening times I keep ending up with unranked people / bronze people and people with 200+ ping. It got to the point i deranked to silver officer and gave up on playing ranked just like previous seasons.
I also notice that I have a higher ping in ranked compared to general Stopwatch. Where i have around 25-30ping in general i get 50 to even peaks of 75 in ranked. I never see a peak like that when i play normal stopwatch and it is very annoying.
Why should the match making system allow cross region. The whole purpose of ranking is that you progress and fight people of your “skill” range. But by allowing people with 200+ ping, how is this even considered equal. Those people can’t do anything about it because the game put them into that game and ruin it not only for them but also for other people in that match.
Why SD do noting with the good advice it gets from here and from reddit to optimize their ranked system. They made so minor changes to ranked while the previous seasons have proven that it has a lot of issues. Most of the issues we see back in season 4 and ofcourse with the disapointment of the players as result.
