Ranked Match Dodging?

Type of Bug: Players able to “dodge” ranked matches with no penalty.
Description: Had a message from a EU player today who claims players are “ranked dodging” matches against players they don’t want to fight against. I informed the player that the current system should be penalizing players for trying to “dodge” matches by quitting games, but the player and their party tested it themselves.

They were able to Alt F4 out of the pre-match lobby screen (where you first meet your opponents) and after restarting the game, were able to re-queue without any sort of penalty. Apparently some players are doing this to try and re-queue Ranked until they match up against a team they think they can beat.

Is this intentional? It seems its being abused at the moment.

A couple other bugs along these lines include a player who says that he just pushed the quit button instead.

The screen claimed he would get a penalty, but he received none.
Video / Screenshot: N/A at this time.
Steps to reproduce: Push quit button in lobby, or press Alt F4 while in ranked lobby screen.
Result: Player removed from ranked queue, no Ranked rejoin ban.
Expected result: Removed from queue, Ranked rejoin penalty.
Reproduction rate: Two instances at this time.

There is also another way to dodge a game.
1)Join lobby
2)Left click on someone in lobby
3)Open Console
4)Type “exit” command
5)Cheer dodged game

SRSLY no penalties SD, you need to increase minimum req for ranked so it will be harder to create smurf and it will prevent new players from playing that, they just join queue and they dont know how to play there because they all is they want are ranked skins . Im not suprisded that ppl dodge games.

Yes, I’ve seen this happening as well. Last night someone named DR. DOOM dropped matches in pregame and was still in the next game that popped minutes later. He did it 3 times in a row.

What’s worse is then he would go in and blame his team, except for one game where he was last place. Sorry, ranting.

Pregame dropping should be counted as a last place loss or there’s no reason to play it.
