Ranked cases and loadouts to encourage ranked play

I think to encourage ranked play, splash Damage should add special cases, that you could only get from playing ranked, that would have small chance of dropping a ranked loadout, with a variety of different skins attached to it. They could also make the odds on getting an iron, bronze, silver, gold, and cobalt slightly better then in standard cases.

I don’t understand why this isn’t a thing. SD clearly want to incentivise ranked play, and people clearly like unique skins. It’s such a no-brainer that I assume they thought of it and decided against it for some reason.

Having a unique case each season that has, say, a 5% chance to drop after each ranked game would be cool. Or to incentivise winning and not just playing, have a rank-unique skin at end of season, for the merc you played most.

good idea apart from the fact that it would almost make players who don’t want to play ranked, play ranked. The ranked community does not need an influx of people who do not want to/should not be there.

Maybe skins for players who reach higher ranks like mid to top silver and above. I know controversial opinion. People are going to say “skins should be available to people of all skill levels, what you have suggested is not inclusive for many members of the community”. To that I would say, well, get good. If there is going to be such HUGE incentive to play ranked, there also needs to be incentive to do well and win games, not just be in the games to get the rewards.

Perhaps they need to raise the minimum rank for comp to like 15 or 20. I personally would not find it fun to be playing against people who are only there for the skins.

We need more people to play comp, and also more people to play comp to win, so give each member of the winning team a special case with a 1% chance at a competitive loadout and all other percentages standard for an equipment case (except lead, which would have 1% less)

And maybe higher chances for higher ranks

love it, I am yet to start ranked but this would make me jump at the oppurtunity
