Random AI troops in multiplayer - I don’t know why I thought of this but it would make for an interesting game mode if when you start a match sometimes there is random AI controlled units spawned into the game adding another dynamic for both teams to deal with.

Random traps - It would also be neat I think anyway if we could enable random traps already spawned into the game. Hidden spider mines, C4 that detonates if you step on it or near it, a trap square that if you step on it a sentry gun pops up 3-4 squares away and fires at you, returning underground afterwards. Having a toggle that allows us to pick the number of traps spawned (1-5) or something would be ideal.

CO-OP Campaigns - I’ve always been a huge fan of co-op content in all the games I like even if it is Asynchronous I think it would still work.

Boss Battles: For instance a map where both players pick 2 soldiers to use and a “boss” unit is spawned in on a map, object see who kills it first or gold reward based on how much damage 1 person does relative to how much damage they took. Boss unit of course is mobile, has lots of HP (like 2-3k), lots of abilities and weapons making it a challenge. Can’t kill each other but you can use strategy to block the other player from attacking using deployables, crates, blockades, etc. Note: This would make for some cool single player challenges too, perhaps one boss battle per tier with a hefty gold reward.

2vs2 coop vs AI game mode: Same as challenges only 2 people take their turn asynchronously then the computer takes its turn and play returns to first player to go again, then player 2. Only difference is they work together and win an equal amount of gold for completing the challenge.

Coop challenges in general would be fun and allow us to pick people we have as friends much like we do multiplayer matches now.

Spaceship map - One designed like the inside of a space ship. few blinking lights, maybe a couple automated electronic arms or conveyor belts, as long as it doesn’t impact game performance and cause lag.

Prison map - A map that is setup somewhat like a prison, large rectangle with lots of broken down jail cells, busted tables, already deployed but destroyable riot shields (not movable), etc with the control point being in the center of the map

controllable deployed turrets - would be kinda neat if some maps had deployed turrets in strategic locations that if you were 1 square away could fire (at an energy cost) but leaving you relatively vulnerable for retalhiation

Maps with destroyable cover - Would be nice if some but not all cover in maps was destroyable or at least able to be weakened with repetitive fire. For instance a yellow shield after taking 100 hp of damage would become a red shield, red shield would become no cover, green would become yellow possibly. Anything to add more dynamic
