So I wanted to give map making another shot
thought I’d try and figure out what went wrong with orb_battle.
So I opened up the source, deleted everything except the core pieces that I wanted. Updated the script rebuilt the scoreboard.
All and well wanted to test the map out.
So I go to build the map BSP -meta *the first compile option.
It says my map has a leak!
entity 1 brush 0 map leaked.
And it draws a red line going from a spline straight through a structural brush out into the open…
So I tried just deleting the whole box surrounding the map and making a new one. But same error occurs again.
I remember having this the last time I tried to fix orb_battle too… Now I remember why I stopped 
so anybody know what caused this seemingly ‘random’ leak.
I compared the .map file to a working .map file in notepad and I can’t seem to see a mistake or a difference so… 
EDIT: Well that was weird. After posting this just tried to compile it agian and… it worked!
So tried to play it. Didn’t work 
Was missing a spline… So went back to radiant and took a look for a missing spline and indeed suddenly there was one missing, figured out which one it was and put it back with the right values.
Now it’s fixed!
No idea what happened must have been a corrupted entity or something, but fixed now thank god 
EDIT2: Ok change topic: here’s a little teaser of what I have so far
needs some tweaks and stuff and it’s only counting that fast to test the concept ofc, will slow it down later.
