Random Crashes While Playing

(Kaz) #1

Title says it all pretty much. While playing Dirty Bomb I usually have this happen once or twice a day. I haven’t been able to notice any pattern or anything that triggers the crash. When it happens, the game freezes and whatever audio was playing at the time is repeated over and over. My computer more than meets the requirements for the game, so that is not the issue. Any help I could get on this would be appreciated

Specs:

Intel i5-3570k @ 3.40 GHz

16 GB DDR3 RAM

Windows 10 Home Edition

GTX 970 STRIX

Dirty Bomb installed on a Samsung EVO 500GB SSD

I’ve the same problem since the latest (the thunder grenade change) update.
It’s fucking annoying and it happens quite alot lately.

Yeah, I’m really stumped as to what causes it. It’s happened since I started playing, which was during the Containment War event.

Has anyone found a solution for this issue yet?

I’m having the exact same issue - I’ve had almost ZERO issues until now.

I can’t even remember the game crashing until just recently, and know it does it in the middle of matches - VERY annoying.

I went as far as wiping my hard drive, reinstalling win10, only loading/installing the minimum amount of programs/drivers to run the game, installed a video card monitoring program and manually set my video card to run at higher fan speed(s).

I’m on a fairly high-end machine and previously had no problems.

Asus GTX 970 video card
Samsung EVO SSD
Win 10 64bit
