Ramblings of an old man....

Welp, I thought I’d throw my 2 cents worth in. I’m not one of these whipper snappers who have been playing FPS since Halo was launched. For all my sins, I started back with the ZX 81, with a whopping 2k of memory. Puts life now in perspective really :slight_smile:

The short and sweet answer is, I’m VERY impressed. Highly impressed with the game, with the support, with the actual response I got from Mr Wedgwood. It says a lot when a developer does actually respond to your comments, and even more so to see the same developer work so hard after release from quite frankly a flaming.

From my perspective the game has most of what I’m looking for. Team play, engagement, objectives, challenges, etc. Love it!

So, thanks to SD for making this happen lads. I’ve not bought a new game since TF2, so well pleased with the outcome and playability.

I’m now off to bang the crap out of my keyboard and try to beat ZXY’s 18 seconds on parkour level. I’m stuck at 28secs at the moment, but only have 9 hrs of playing…3 of which where messing around on Friday at work :slight_smile:

All in all, to anyone who is questioning getting this game…on PC…GET IT!. End off!.

Minor Edit: I’d like to see 2 small(ish) things added in the free DLC if it was at all possible? I would love a true english guy, east end style, or from Liverpool, be in the voice options. 2) A real english, manc, scouser type in the character options…shrugs…nothing critical, just nice to haves as your a brit developer :slight_smile: Maybe Dick Van Dyck :smiley:

This game seems to be made for me. With my super bad aim (I blame ati low fps :D)
I can still do well. I had best overall several times with maybe 3 or 4 kills =D

I really like this game aswell, I have one minor request to go along with your voice requests.

I originaly picked the Irish voice despite being English jsut didnt like the English voice, all was well for a few hours then my Irish voice turned into a Jamacia Rasta type voice now im playing as a white guy I would love to be able to change my voice back without having to re-start just seems abit weird being white and rasta sounding lol

I’d prefer a more diverse range of accents rather than multiple english ones. What about a ukrainian or slavic accent?

I’m just happy we get to choose our voice. Thats something i’ve missed since Planetside.

I do like how SD have offered a wealth of customisation rarely seen in games in general, let alone in a FPS, and all people do is ask for more.

I’m not saying they shouldn’t add more, but I’ve yet to see a thread or (many) post(s) that simply congratulate SD on offering so much choice.

Still, good post OP and I completely agree with the rest of it. :stuck_out_tongue:

I agree, this game is amazing and I think I’m going to be playing it for a long time. I really hope to get competitive with it as well. If anyone has a 360, add me, my gamertag is DDG Alpha

Oh and by the way, I’ve gotten down to 22 seconds on it and 56th in the world on the Parkour challenge. :slight_smile:

Thanks for the positive comments guys. I was going to mention the PArkour, but decided against it as I’m still stuck around 29 seconds…lol
