seems like a good map. Just been playing it and enjoyed it. I wish some poele would make servers running custom campaigns that never changed. You could have raiders, temple3 and another desert type for one a campaign that would be cool.
edit, i really liked the statues at the temple entrance, i tried making something similar myself once but never pulled it off. Nice map now go beat some people into hosting a permanant desert custom campaign. 
The statues are some quake 3 custom models, reskinned with a combo of some of sock’s custom desert textures and the original model skin.
about the download size, it’s not as if they have to download this map every time they want to play it. So I would be more than willing to download this map once, even from a slow server.

Dodges the falling ball
Runs right into a torch, gets burned and then gets run over by the ball while backing away from the torch
My wife laughed her ass off when she saw me pull that one.
