Radiant gone wonky

(duke'ku) #1

I tried to start up mapping recently, but I’ve been stopped dead in my tracks because Radiant has lost it. Hitting esc deletes the brush I have selected, so I can’t make any new brushes, the buttons do not work, and while in freelook in the 3d view, the view spins constantly to the left.

Any idea what the hell is wrong?

edit: nevermind, after installing 1.3.13, it works perfectly.

I DUN KNOW HUMMER!

Whoa, I just noticed Hummer lives in Portland too!

What part of Portland do you live in? I’m in Southeast.

well i don’t have that problem, but i have noticed that radiant has stopped highlighting a selected face or brush in the perspective view. i can see it go red in the grid window, but not in perspective. i figure a reinstall will fix it, though i’ve not been using radiant lately.

I had the same problem, so I just cleaned Radiant’s preferences. Worked like a charm.

try J it cycles through the options a lot faster than re-installing. Also the ‘show’ menu.

northeast here, hummer is in beaverton. or hillsboro, one of those crazy ass suburbs

on a side note, radiant is working fine except that patches are b0rked. i can make them, but on deselect, they disappear. and while selected, all i see is the transparent red and white. no textures, it’s as if it’s invisible.

Geh, that was the problem.

After clearing the prefs 4 times, it still didn’t catch that :frowning:
