radiant crashes when trying to compile

hi… i am new to the forums, nice to meet u all.

i have a problem with gtk radiant 1.3.8-et, it seems to be crashes when i try to compile, sometimes it wont, sometimes it will, i have restarted my computer, reinstalled then restarted, redownload, installed, uninstalled, u name i have done it, and it still crashes, sometimes it wont and sometimes it will, why is this? :???:

In the dox it says even though your vid card/computer can run ET it is no promise that it can run the editor.

Go figure.

this happens to me too, it says (insert name of map) can’t be found.

ok, so it wont work with a geforce 4 ti 4400 correctly?

Make sure you’re running sv_pure 0 when running your maps, or it won’t load them.

same here:

go check FILE->Project Settings:

fix basepath (check the Slashes, there where doubles - but dont foget: *nix Style Slashes) and Menu commands if needed.

did it for me

Nope. Crap vid card. Should have went for 4600.

Nope, not any better with the 4600.

Should have seen this coming when I tried out the 1.3.9 beta release last week. The 1.3.8 beta release a few months ago was bad…The whole 1.3.x release is evil.

For now, back to 1.2.13
