Radiant crashes - Bug ??

(El Muerte) #1

Hi! I am pretty new to mapping stuff - as well as I dont speak english THAT well - so the most desriptions are real jibberish to me. THX much to everyone who explained the stuff really step-by-step
Well my problem is : when I press “e” and get the edit edges thingy and try some weird forms it says “WARNING: brush plane with no normal” ( still OK ) or better - Radiant hangs up and closes itself :banghead:
I got GtkRadiant-1.3.8-ET so is this kind of known bug or am I the only one having that bad trouble ?

Few questions, before i can try to help(if possible)

What operating system are your on?
Does it just crash while you are making the map?
Do you have “log to consol” “on”?
and how many brushes are you using?

Second Side
If on XP, then your on the same as me.
If it does crash while working then-You have same problem as me, and thats a bummer:banana:!
Log to consol causes some bugs in radiant(well thats what ive read)
To many brushes could cause some problems, use “brush clean up” It May help![/b]

Log to consol ?? not already heard of it - settings are all default
U know i am really a noob 5-6 days mapmaker LOL - so I didnt want to bother with silly questions but my radiant crashing - that was to hard for me! :banghead:
