i dunno what i pressed, but now everytime i select a face with ctrl+shift +click the face i select doesnt go red, i dunno what im selecting and i just have to go by heart. please tell me how can i view the selected faces going red again, thx

you should be able to press the “j” key to cycle through the different selection types in the 3D window.
