radiant and texture prob :/

i prob selected something wrong and that why i got the prob but its annoying… when i wanne give a wall a texture with the ctrl+shift thing the wall doesnt colour red as it normally does for me, its kinda annoying since i dont see wich walls i already selected…
and i need a refresh about adding textures to radiant, i got my texture into the radiant program and i can use it but when i compile and test the map i see the lovely orange/black texture -.- where do i have to add this texture so i can see it when i test my map?

first: never had that problem
2nd:
either sv_pure 0
or pak them to a pk3

and keep in mind that the textures have to be a power of 2

press J
and textures need to be in etmain/textures or in a pk3 /textures

Also if you will have some custom shader, be sure you will add the shader’s name in shaderlist.txt which you can find in scripts folder :slight_smile:
