Anything else in console ?
This can be a complicated problem. Since it worked - and then stopped working ‘suddenly’ - what was your last change?
I don’t know, but I deleted all files and folder and download it again and it runs fine now.
Thank you so much for your help.

Hey,
for the devmap issue:
Try /devmap "sand storm"
However avoid blanks in ET. Just name it sand_storm, and you’re good to go.
I didn’t really understand what your problem with q3map2toolz is. Could you maybe specify?
Or can someone else help?
Regards
well more problems, I loaded sand storm into GTKrad. then saved it as sand_storm,
then I tryed to compile it. I get this error. I have not compile anything on this computer.
Failed to execute the following command: “F:/Documents and Settings/Administrator/Desktop/
GtkRadiant-1.6-20121007/GtkRadiant-1.6-20121007/q3map2” -v -connect 127.0.0.1:39000
-game et -fs_basepath “F:/Program Files/Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory/” -meta -mv 1024 -mi 6144
“C:/Program Files/Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory/etmain/maps/sand_storm.map”
Check that the file exists and that you don’t run out of system resources.
I have 4 computers here and this progam will not run right on any of then.
I hope you can help.
Now q3map2toolz I click on dev and et 260B comes up but it does not load the map. it just brings up ET.
I hope I can get the programs running, I just rented a server to test some of my maps.
thank you

I would suggest to use locations which have no space in it.
At best c:\gtkradiant\ c:\wolfet
Although the problem you have might be unrelated to that.
No idea about q3map2toolz , never used it.
But there is surely something awkward going on in you logs…
“F:/Program Files/Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory/”
“C:/Program Files/Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory/etmain/maps/sand_storm.map”
edit: even better then c:\gtkradiant
c:\gtkradiant-1.6-20121007\
more or less as you had it. That way you can have multiple installs of it…
Also latest version is over here:
http://icculus.org/gtkradiant/downloads.html#binaries
Well, I got every thing working. my GTKrad. I took of my desktop and put it on the c drive. then I made a short cut to the desktop. GTk works fine.
then I did as you said I loaded sand storm up in GTK and resaved it as sand_storm. Then every thing worked, I can use q3map2toolz or type in devmap sand_storm. Both way I get the map to come up now…
Thank you some much for your help.

For Q3Map2Toolz I had to register .ocx files manually, because it wasn’t starting at all, so I guess it’s not your issue ^^’
Short paths with no spaces are recommended, mainly for textures path (Radiant may messed them up, replacing textures/etc by the full local path).
You have a quite outdated version too, you should get the latest:
https://s3.amazonaws.com/gtkradiant/GtkRadiant-1.6.4-20131213.zip
I dont use Q3map2Toolz… but if it is just about placing files, then maybe just start program as administrator…
