I’ll give y’all a hard won tip. Carlito can be played very effectively!!!

Equip him w/ a stumpy. Bring a Gus. Squirt him (I call it the fastball special after x-men colossus/wolverine combo) into close range where he will surprise you how effective he can be. Save the turret for the right moment rather than just splashing it out there.

He has plenty of hp, is cheap, and gets such a bad rap!

I use Carlito with the Stumpy fairly regularly. He’s great on maps like Favela and Construction. Leave him at home with some pies if you head to Old Town though… :slight_smile:

I like Timmy, I used to play him a lot before Rio, though his toy usually died to quick but good on some maps if I get positioning right or oppenant makes mistake. Be nice to see him spruced up as suggested with all medium toons. tried him on Rio-dies to quickly under snipes.
Gus is my only medical, like to try Kate when I can afford her for a change.
Pete my only agent, never will have Juan, dont like him.
Dee Hacker I still use but waiting for fix on his shield-a-bot bug…did play someone who fielded 3 of him and a med on Falava!
Spud I use hopping he get sorted in medium range.
Suds I like but just dosnt cut it with movement. C4 a boost, but on old town map you cant throw it up on the snipers like grenade and boomtube! So he gets shot up.

Its a little of personal experience encounters and observational as well. No one really talks much about the Rare, Extiction and fossilized toons. No one really discuss them in depth, and many veterans will also tell you they are barely seen in tournaments an random games alike. Its just a Fun gag post, the data may not be a spot on accurate down to the last detail but it does hold some water of truth. :slight_smile:

Mid to short range engagement only toon. Situational on both maps and opponents encountered. Requires too much Gush assistance because he is sloopy. No denial that he can chew a chunk off clean from any full HP toon at close range. From what i figure he could possibly get somewhere with Team Spirit crate, but there is only one crate and its really tricky where to deploy it…

Did I miss something? Doesn’t he have 300 hit points? And why R short and medium range units inherently bad?

There is no line of sight for a stumpy to the head…

I know u were being entertainment, which I liked, but coup you’ve settled into too rigid an opinion about a lot of things. You need to play some random squads. I admit that the gun turret pretty much blows, but things might change and it would be nice to know how to effectively use every toon.

If u were a Sargent and one of your squad was lame, would u just leave him at home or stick a gun in his hand and at least point him In the right direction?

Plus the kids are stuck with some of these lesser toons for now, you could give them some practical advice about playing them rather than just championing your favorites-- that is if you are writing “THE” guide rather than “YOUR” guide.

Hahahahaha:tongue: Chill out, Im not condemning the Cuban kid to being a benchwarmer. I spend quite an amount of coins on him to not be on the sidelines. I mean to point out his drawbacks not to discourage usage, but to highlight what are the challenges one have to overcome to turn the seemingly ZERO to a HERO.
