In addition to a tutorial introducing some to r_speeds you can now download a Visual Basic for Applications Macro for Excel that can digest and report on the R_speeds of your map (or any ET map). Registration is required but comes at no cost or spam.

Hi I registered your fine site, but still I cannot view the R_speed tutorial :frowning:
It just says you must register… I can access my profile etc. But the article I cannot view.

The last tutorial that you have included, explains the real meaning of “# / # tris” which you were uncertain about in the part you wrote.

The first number is the number of triangles drawn in a single pass, and the second is the number of triangles drawn in all passes.

Chruker, what is the max number of entities?

1024 for the game. however the number in radiant and the game are not the same. Some entities like func_group are removed by the compiler, plus the game creates entities on the fly, for players, projectiles etc.
