Quiet In These Here Parts...

Strange, the forums have been fine for years until… Basily left but that’s not the point.

Are you seriously not seeing how much of a hypocrite you’re being right now? To that fact, you’re still carrying it on.

@JimmyJames: It makes the word **** (as you can see it’s filtered tw-at), urbandictionary is your friend.

Anyway, even talking about nothing seems to have dropped the ball… and who started it?

I’m quite sure it has something to do with female genitals.

:frowning: I resent that comment.
zenstar, why the heck aren’t you playing dystopia or neotokyo?!?! seriously, the weapons and pieces in neotokyo and ideas and abilities from dystopia put deus ex hr to shame!!! mp with cloak, vision modes, awesome weapons, and dystopia has a separate cyberspace where you have to hack objectives but you might find yourself squaring off against enemy hackers. geeez loooooeeeeeezzzz where ya beeen?!

NT gameplay (music from its soundtrack)]

super rad dystopia trailer

Both of these games are free source engine mods. I prefer NT personally. Brink could have used either one as examples of balanced body types of light/balanced/heavy with unique abilities and load outs.
Looks interesting. I’d heard the name “Dystopia” before but never looked into it much. I’ll definitely pick those up and give them a try.
I did pick up a game called “E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy”. It’s got loads of atmosphere but it keeps crashing on me randomly when I’m hacking people (yes… hacking into people ala puppetmaster from GitS) so I’ve put it aside until the next major patch in hopes that they’ll sort it out by then.

Who’d have thought a game who’s major focus seems to be appealing to shallow people with grind and barbie play ran out of things to discuss. Such a shame the hard work SD put into the the bones got covered in such a compromised shell of marketing priorities.

Talk to the girl and ask more details. There is another way to do it.

Wow…judging by how this thread has gone I think I can see the problem here…

(Zekariah) #29

Yeah, that’s been a bit of a hang out for me atm.

(TONSCHUH) #30

… maybe try Hard Reset, if you have access to a PC and Steam running … it’s a cheap SP-FPS and worth the money … bought it myself …

Quiet may mean a lot is going on in the background that you don’t see…like silent ninjas.

(zenstar) #32

Unfortunately quiet also means people losing interest and wandering off =/

…and “silent ninja” is redundant  You only hear a ninja if he wants you to hear him and then it’s probably the last thing you’ll hear.
Also: plural of ninja is ninja (well… technically “ninja” and “ninjas” are accepted in english… but in keeping with the etemology of the word it should be “ninja”).

I butcher the english language on purpose.

You can see the total number of people online, here, if you wish.
