Is there any way of removing the ‘loading’ text on the loading menu (if you go into a server, it’s plastered on the loading bar), withouth making a new mod?

I don’t I know, I do know that you can change the bar, but I don’t know if you can get rid of the text that shows through it, maybe if you searched pak0 you could find something

I’ve searched that pak0 millions of times, couldn’t find it, so that’s why I came here…

I could ‘HEX’ it out of the cgame file (take it out of the library, also known as dll file).

But this means that the server has to let the client download this new cgame.dll, for example in a new mod directory (/tcetest/baronmod/).

So if you want this, post me the latest et cgame dll you currently use or don’t :slight_smile:

Or you can just change it in the source code if you’re using a main version of Wolfenstein ET.

Our server is running the latest version of jaymod I believe, it’s is jaymod. I’ll give you the .dll as soon as I get it so you can ‘hex’ it. Thanks dude!

I hexed the cgame_mp_x86.dll and put it into a pk3.

I can’t, we need the one from my clan, and I don’t know where it is located in my ET folder, I don’t even know if I’ve got it. I have send a PM to my clan leader and head administrator, he’ll give it to me.

I think you have it in a folder called ‘jaymod’, the file is located in a jaymod-Vx pk3

Well. I have made a new loading menu for my clan (et-pow.com) and the loading bar contains text, and it looks stupid if the plasters ‘loading’ on top of the text that will appear on the loading bar.

Sorry, but that seems like a rather dumb thing to do. First, running a hacked version of a mod is never safe for anyone, because who knows what else is done to it. Second, you will contribute to more clutter on people’s computers because people are going to have to redownload the pak again for your custom dll. All because of a special graphic?

They don’t have to download a whole pak! Just a very small file…
