Quick Chat Key Binding

I can’t seem too locate where the key binding is for Quick Chat. I rebound my ‘v’ key, then couldn’t find it.

I checked all the pages under options. I know it was there previously under “quick chat” in the keyboard bindings, but now seems to have disappeared from all options menus, unless I am blind.

The “quick chat” option is only in the ingame menu, not on the main menu UI. It is simply not there :smiley:

Solution to your problem @xAvenger: Fire up the tutorial and change the setting there, it is pretty much at the bottom of the bind options. This way you dont interfere with a live game.

What key/function did you rebind “V” to? maybe the game has just swapped the keys around?

@FireWorks That worked, thank you! @Maddpadd I checked that. I bound the ‘v’ key to sprint (have been using the same KB&M controls since Quake 2; ‘v’ has always been sprint for me). But the ‘Quick Chat’ bind is not even listed in the options menu, and I did not even see it when I tried to bind it during a match this morning. Fireworks pointed me in the right direction; I would not have thought to go to the menu in the Tutorial.

The options menu in this game is a fucking mess! Not only do the in-game and main menu options differ in what options you have, but the in-game one has most options duplicated, however only the bottom ones change anything. It’s amazingly shit.
